Akhil Bhartiya Pharmacist Association (ABPA) is a national level association working for the welfare of pharmacists. From the day of its inception association is constantly touching new heights.
ABPA is the largest and one of the oldest professional associations of Pharmacist in the India with all categories members including Pharmacist, students, practitioners, educators, researchers, and Industrial Pharmacist. The Headquarters of ABPA is situated at Ghaziabad, U.P India.
Vision: ABPA is a democratic forum working to maintain dignity, honour and social security of the Pharmacist Community in the country. It strives to provide quality in Pharmacy Profession to each and every citizen of India. ABPA is committed to preserve the autonomy of profession. healthcare professionals.
Pharmacists also contribute to research and testing of new drugs. They work in pharmacies, medical clinics, hospitals, universities, and government institutions.

Pharmacists are healthcare professionals who specialize in the right way to use, store, preserve, and provide medicine. They can guide you on how to use medications, and let you know about any potential adverse effects of what you take. They fill prescriptions issued by doctors and other
healthcare professionals.
Pharmacists also contribute to research and testing of new drugs. They work in pharmacies, medical clinics, hospitals, universities, and government institutions.
PHARMACIST'S OATH

I swear by the code of ethics of Pharmacy Council of India, in relation to the community and shall act as an integral part of health care team.
I shall uphold the laws and standards governing my profession.
I shall strive to perfect and enlarge my knowledge to contribute to the advancement of pharmacy and public health.
I shall follow the system which I consider best for Pharmaceutical care and counseling of patients.
I shall endeavor to discover and manufacture drugs of quality to alleviate sufferings of humanity.
I shall hold in confidence the knowledge gained about the patients in connection with my professional practice and never divulge unless compelled to do so by the law.
I shall associate with organizations having their objectives for betterment of the profession of Pharmacy and make contribution to carry out the work of those organizations.
While I continue to keep this oath unviolated, may it be granted to me to enjoy life and the practice of pharmacy respected by all, at all times !
Should I trespass and violate this oath, may the reverse be my lot !
